Unsubscribe Me: Waterboarding

Amnesty International released a new commercial as a part of their Unsubscribe Me campaign to end torture. The ad will be playing in select movie theaters in the coming months.

Tell me what you think.

Wow. I think that is really effective. Except I wonder about the very small amount of info at the end. Would someone completely unfamiliar with waterboarding understand from the commercial the extent to which this is used as a torture method?

Also, what do you guys think about the fact that the man in the video actually underwent waterboarding in the creation of the film?

I don't see it as a concern that he was waterboarded for a commercial. Voluntary participation makes it alright, I think. Its certainly for a greater good.

Its clear at the end of the clip that its waterboarding and the screaming certainly conveys the fact that its not pleasant. I like the fact that it looks like a bottled water commercial.

I don't think torture and or interrogation is supposed to be pleasant.
